Job Summary

We are looking for a dynamic Strategic Account Director to join our team to drive growth within the data center vertically through delivering integrated CRH solutions that allow customers to achieve their strategic goals.

As the Solutions Strategic Account Director for data centers, you will be responsible for managing and developing key accounts within the data center vertical. Your role will focus on building strong relationships with key customers, understanding their unique needs and delivering customized solutions that drive value. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including solutions engineers, product managers and platform technical resources to develop solutions that meet the customers' strategic goals. The preferred location for this position is Atlanta but we are open to considering remote employees located in the continental United States.

Job Responsibilities

Develop and maintain strong relationships with key accounts in the data center sector, serving as their primary point of contact and trusted advisor. Initial focus will be on Hyperscale customers globally Develop a comprehensive understanding of key construction trends within the data center verticals, and key drivers and decision makers within the construction value chain for data centers (owners, developers, architects, engineers and general contractors) Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics and competitive landscape within the data center vertical to inform account strategies Engage with customers to understand their specific needs, challenges and goals, providing tailored solutions and insights to solve their challenges Work closely with solutions engineers, product managers and technical teams to develop and scale solutions focused on the data center vertical Create and execute account plans that align with customer objectives and drive business growth Work closely with the platform sales, product management, and operations to ensure the effective delivery of solutions and services that meet customer requirements Monitor account performance and sales metrics providing regular updates and reports to management

Job Requirements

Bachelor's Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Business, Architecture or related field or equivalent experience 10 years of experience in account management, sales, or business development, preferably within the data center market - with the credibility and presence to meet with key stakeholders within this market Strong understanding of data center operations, technologies and market trends Established relationships with data center hyperscalers a plus Proven track record of managing key accounts and achieving sales targets Excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills Ability to work collaboratively in a cross functional team environment Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a customer centric approach Deep understanding, hands-on knowledge, and appreciation of owner, developer, contractor, and architectural construction needs, processes, and economics Ability and experience to develop executive level relationships Ability to build and maintain strong internal relationships - recognizing the unique organizational needs of various business units Ability to independently analyze developer/contractor strategies and needs to articulate CRH value propos tion Comfort with working across a technical range of products Strong influencing skills; ability to drive results and revenue in a matrix environment as an influencer Ability to obtain data/information and analyze that information to understand and communicate opportunities to relevant key stakeholders
