Job Title: Integration Engineer (Node JS & Type Script)

Job Location: Anywhere in USA.

Job description:

Capgemini is looking for a Backend developer with expertise in Node.js and Typescript.

Key Responsibilities:

• Proven track record to produce high quality user documentation.

• Strong customer relationship skills, problem resolution and improved efficiencies and productivity.

• Very highly developed written and verbal communication skills (including the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to a non-technical audience)

• Business Analysis — shown success collaborating directly with internal customers (i.e., product owners) to understand their needs and translate them into a working solution

• Adaptability — a fast learner with a willingness to build solutions using tools to which you may have had little previous exposure

• Empathy—the skills to understand the challenges faced by our customers, and the aim to resolve them

Required Skills:

• 5 years equivalent work experience.

• Shown hands-on experience as a software engineer with a focus on one or more technologies inclusive of NodeJS, TypeScript, JavaScript, ExpressJS.

• The candidate should have worked on development of microservices / REST APIs using NodeJS/Typescript for a majority of their projects (at least 3-4 years)

• Experience in Mocha, CouchDB, Redis, Kafka, Docker and Kubernetes in Azure platform is a plus. Experience with large scale enterprise system development and integration.

• Experience preferred in project management, business analysis, or system design. Conflict resolution and problem-solving techniques required. Good presentation, facilitation, communication, and negotiation skills required.

• Experience with Agile, Scrum, and Scaled Agile Framework a plus

• This role requires the candidate to work in a Hybrid model.
