Position Purpose:

The Senior Data Analyst will play a crucial role in leveraging services data to drive strategic business decisions and optimize operational efficiencies. This position involves the design, development, and implementation of advanced data analysis and reporting solutions. The Senior Data Analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, translate them into analytical requirements, and deliver actionable insights through comprehensive data analysis. They will be adept at managing and analyzing large datasets, identifying trends and patterns, and presenting data in a clear and impactful manner.

Key Responsibilities:

• Establish reporting standards and best practices.

• Architect and implement a reporting framework.

• Oversee data mining efforts.

• Develop programs, methodologies, and files for analyzing and presenting data.

• Collaborate with stakeholders, developers, UX designers and end-users to determine requirements.

• Data analysis, development of SQL scripts, stored procedures & triggers, and report generation.

• Data Cleansing/validation

• Prepare data load scripts for mass data load from various data sources

• Use of varied database applications/analytical tools

• Enhancements/modifications to systems and procedures

Direct Manager/Direct Reports:

• Position Reports to Manager

Travel Requirements:

• Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements:

• Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Working Conditions:

• Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be eighteen years of age or older.

• Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees are a plus.

• Expert experience in SQL, Tableau, Python, and similar tools preferred ​

• Experience working with dbt, GitHub, and Jenkins is preferred but optional.

• The knowledge, skills and abilities typically acquired through the completion of a bachelor's degree program or equivalent degree in a field of study related to the job.
