Home Depot Clarity Engineer- Senior Software Engineer in Atlanta, Georgia

Position Purpose:

The Home Depot has an immediate opening highly qualified individual contributor for a role as a Broadcom Clarity Configurator/Developer. This position requires experience in architecting, designing, developing, and supporting Broadcom Clarity (SAAS) solution. The candidate is expected to have experience in Project, Demand, Financials, Timesheet and Resource Management modules. In addition, the candidate should have the ability to step into an implementation and operational support situation without direct guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirement gathering, requirement analysis, design, and development for Clarity enhancements (Portlets, Processes, NSQL Queries, Lookups, HTML Portlets).

  • Configure CLARITY and integrate with various applications like Beeline and Workday.

  • Deploying deliverables from lower environment to prod. using XOG and content package.

  • Coordinate across multiple teams to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Application monitoring for processes and jobs including application performance monitoring.

  • Troubleshoot issues on existing processes/portlets including full resolution lifecycle.

  • Clarity (SSAS) upgrade support.

  • Create and schedule Jaspersoft report in Advanced Reporting.

  • Interact successfully with business and IT team members to design optimal solutions.

Travel Requirements:

  • No travel required.

Physical Requirements:

  • Most of the time is spent sitting in a comfortable position and there is frequent opportunity to move about. On rare occasions there may be a need to move or lift light articles.

Working Conditions:

  • Located in a comfortable indoor area. Any unpleasant conditions would be infrequent and not objectionable.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Must be eighteen years of age or older.

  • Must be legally permitted to work in the United States.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 4 plus years of relevant work experience in a teaming position with knowledge and experience relating business requirements to sound technical solutions.

  • 2-4 plus years of hands-on experience configuring and supporting Clarity PPM modules Project, Demand, Financials, Timesheet and Resource Management. Including a strong understanding of these functional areas.

  • Strong experience on the MUX, XOG, process workflows, Gel scripts, REST API and Studio.

  • Solid experience in Jasper Soft report design and development.

  • Solid experience in SQL optimization and performance tuning NSQL queries.

  • Proven ability to resolve complex solutions. Excellent facilitation skills, including experience planning and participating in planning sessions. Have been through at least 1 complete implementation cycle or equivalent experience in other implementation domains.

  • Experience utilizing formal testing tools strongly desired (experience with HP ALM testing tools a plus).

  • Experience with managing Windows Server with MS SQL Server, Alteryx, etc. desired.

  • Experience with interacting with third party resources, including offshore teams.

  • Must be self-motivated in learning new concepts and willing to share knowledge and skills with other team members.

  • Must have strong communication skills, with the ability to explain complex solutions and ideas.
