We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our Reporting and Analytics team. This role will have a strong focus on collaboration with other squads and teams throughout the company, and you will serve as a representative for our group in cross-departmental projects.

Intuit Mailchimp is a hybrid workplace, giving employees the opportunity to collaborate in person with team members in our Atlanta and New York offices two or more days per week.

What you'll bring

  • Foster an inclusive environment and embrace our commitment to diversity, equity, and Senior level engineer with extensive experience in software development.

  • Strong experience in PHP and/or Javascript/React, with hands-on expertise in full stack development and solid understanding of Object Oriented Programming principles and design.

  • Nice to have experience in cloud infrastructure such as AWS or GCP.

  • Experience in querying and transforming data from a database using SQL or other technologies.

  • Knowledge about unit testing and experience with test automation frameworks such as Mabl, TestCafe, or Playwright.

  • Proficiency in writing documentation and performing code reviews. Experience with Agile development process and Scrum methodologies.

How you will lead

  • Gather functional requirements, develop technical specifications, write and maintain scalable and efficient code.

  • Provide mentorship for fellow team members and collaborate with Senior/Staff engineers and support on-call schedules.

  • Research and propose new approaches to work, tools, and best practices.

  • Work with design and engineering team members to build features from concept through delivery.

  • Ensure quality by performing thorough testing and leveraging peer reviews for your work and the work of others.

  • Adhere to internal coding standards, development processes, web accessibility and performance, software testing and design best practices.

  • Strong desire to learn and grow with excellent communication and problem Can-do attitude with willingness to take ownership of problems and ability to make decisions independently.
