We are seeking a Senior Product Manager, Fly Delta who will be responsible for developing and successfully executing world-class customer experiences within the Fly Delta app. Working closely with cross departmental teams from Delta’s Commercial, Customer Experience, IT and Operational teams, this Sr. Product Manager will be part of a team responsible for strategies, initiatives, product roadmap and use cases for Fly Delta that increase revenue, NPS, loyalty, engagement and lifetime value.

As the Senior Product Manager, you will work with UX/Design, development and key business stakeholders to define and plan the launch of new features. The successful candidate will have a passion for building exceptional digital experiences that drive positive customer sentiment within the Fly Delta app. The ability to translate long-term ambitions and goals into tangible features and requirements for Fly Delta is a critical skill for this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the product development lifecycle for Fly Delta by defining requirements, managing the design process and deliverables with Delta's digital agency, working with the development team, triaging bugs, supporting User Acceptance Testing, and completing post-launch analysis

  • Work closely with Digital Product Managers, IT developers, UX designers, and cross-functional commercial and operational business teams to successfully drive, execute and deliver on initiatives

  • Utilize market research, customer and agent feedback, analytics data, and industry trends to understand customer needs, discovering competitive and functional gaps and identifying new opportunities to ultimately define Fly Delta’s product roadmap

  • Communicate and coordinate with key stakeholders across the organization to share priorities, roadmap, and key learnings

  • Define success criteria & metrics of new product experiences and perform post-implementation analysis to identify continuous improvement capabilities

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • Minimum of 5 years of work experience

Proven track record of successful delivery, meeting deadlines, and working with stakeholders in a cross-departmental team environment

  • Proven ability to influence without authority and work in a matrix environment

  • *

Able to take general requirements and develop an execution plan to deliver projects

  • Strong written & oral communication skills, positive attitude, & able to manage change successfully

  • *

Professional and courteous and must be able to operate as such under pressure in a fast-paced environment

  • Knowledge of Delta Air Lines and/or the airline industry, travel landscape and/or consumer behavior

  • *

Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.

  • Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.

Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.

  • Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

  • Strong understanding of mobile operating systems and new enhancements preferred

  • Knowledge of the Product Management Lifecycle, experience working with design agencies and development teams. Knowledge of loyalty and lifecycle marketing strategies

  • Experience with Adobe Product Suite (CDP, AJO, etc.)

  • A self-starter that is focused on improving digital experiences in order to achieve business goals

  • Prior work experience in Digital, Consulting, Customer Experience, Loyalty, Operations, Reservations, or Revenue Management a plus
