At Delta Air Lines, we create world-class digital experiences that are customer-focused, innovative, easy to use and revenue-enhancing. The Digital Optimization team plays a critical role in Delta Air Lines’ Enterprise Digital Strategy team. As an Optimization Analyst, you will harness the power of online experimentation to glean critical insights that shape the way our customers shop, book and interact with content on our digital channels. By leveraging both your creative and analytical skillset, the team member will work to help foster a culture of creativity and testing, working closely with Digital teams and Optimization team to assess our test backlog, and work to develop, launch, and measure performance of optimization tests. Many of the tests will ultimately drive investment in IT development – implementing changes based on learnings from winning tests.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and deploy A/B tests to learn more about our customers and improve the Delta.com ecosystem

  • Maintain relationships with digital product teams (Search and Purchase, Digital Loyalty, Trip Management, Digital Self Service and others) and other stakeholders to stay abreast of business developments and industry trends in order to drive a robust backlog of ideas

  • Work with the Digital Tools team, various product teams, and Analytics teams to guide ideas from ideation through technical/design/analytic assessments

  • Identify success metrics and design test analytics plan

  • Socialize backlog and ensure alignment regarding testing priorities

  • Partner with all stakeholders to gain approvals, perform QA testing, and launch tests

  • Utilize Adobe Analytics, Quantum Metric to assess and monitor performance of tests

  • Communicate test results to stakeholders and digital leadership

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • Must be able to compile compelling, concise presentations for leadership audiences

  • Must be a creative and innovative problem solver

  • Highly quantitative with ability / desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic and evolving environment

  • Ability to translate data into insights

  • Must be self-motivated and intellectually curious

  • Must possess strong written and oral communication skill

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) a must

  • Must be performing satisfactorily in current position

  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.

  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

Experience with Adobe Analytics and/or web analytics highly preferred Bachelors degree and/or equivalent number of years relevant work experience
