Robert Half Security Analyst in Atlanta, Georgia

Description We are seeking a Systems Security Administrator in the defense software industry, based in Atlanta, Georgia. This role involves monitoring the environment for cyber threats and responding appropriately, maintaining and optimizing internal security systems, and working closely with entry level analysts to evaluate and remediate complex security incidents.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor systems, network, databases, and Web for potential system breaches

• Respond to alerts from information security tools and escalate issues according to procedure

• Investigate and resolve security incidents and recommend changes to enhance systems security

• Research security trends and new methods to preemptively eliminate the possibility of system breach

• Mentor entry level Security Analysts and work with them to evaluate and remediate complex security incidents

• Monitor security solutions and resulting alert tickets

• Provide feedback on solutions and processes to experienced overall capabilities

• Build expertise in the environment and security best practices to better protect and detect issues

• Maintain process documentation and evidence collection for supporting incidents, audits, and other events

• Oversee internal or external systems security as needed.

Skills required include Access Control, Database, EO/IR systems, Firewall Technologies, GRC, AB Testing, Active Directory, Auditing, CCTV, Configuration Management, Splunk, SIEM Tools, Microsoft Azure, and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Requirements • Demonstrated proficiency in Access Control and Database management

• Proficiency in EO/IR systems, Firewall Technologies, and GRC

• Experience with AB Testing and Active Directory

• Auditing skills and knowledge of CCTV operations

• Knowledge of Configuration Management

• Proficiency in Splunk and SIEM Tools

• Experience with cloud services like Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS)

• Strong understanding of defense software industry standards and regulations

• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

• Ability to work in a team and independently

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field is preferred Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
