Your Opportunity

The EBSCO Books team supports the worldwide sales organization by facilitating the timely resolution of sales inquiries while working closely with Customers, Prospects, Product Management, Order Processing, and Customer Support.

As a Sales Data Specialist Intern, you will work closely with a team of seasoned specialists and leaders who do both active selling and back-end operations. You will assist the team in working with internal staff and customers to meet the needs of libraries across the globe. Tasks include but are not limited to renewal nurture campaigns, deposit management, competitive research, daily tasks that include customer onboarding, quoting and reporting as well as assisting with projects related to our new e-commerce platform (Mosaic).

This remote position is U.S.-based only (excluding U.S. territories).

As part of the EIS Summer Intern Program, interns receive a dedicated orientation program starting on June 2 nd , and participate in enrichment and training events with fellow interns across the company. What You'll Do

  • The primary responsibilities of a Books Specialist intern include but are not limited to:

  • Perform title filtering and price quote requests; familiarity with Microsoft Access and Excel

  • Assist Books Sales Director, Manager, fellow eBook Specialists, and Vice Presidents on tasks as needed

  • Create & analyze various reports covering sales results and sales opportunities

  • Provide written communications to worldwide sales & marketing

  • Set up customer accounts for the e-Commerce website & eBook management portal

  • Research sales opportunities based on current events, new programs of study, etc. both domestic & international

  • Competitive research and present to leadership by the end of the internship

  • Provide assistance to the worldwide sales force for Flipster Digital Magazines

Your Team

You will be welcomed as a member of the Books Sales Team within the Sales department. We promote a healthy work-life balance as we all work remotely. We use Microsoft Teams as our way of staying connected for the “in-office” feel. Our team is supportive with training and providing resources, assisted by our shared knowledge base of information.

About You

  • Undergraduate student graduating December 2025 or later, eligible to work in USA

  • Looking for a future career in sales and/or sales operations

  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office products (including MS Excel) including V-Lookups and Pivot Tables

Pay Range

USD $20.00 - USD $26.00 /Hr.

The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors including your skills, qualifications, education, training, and experience, as well as the position’s work location.
