    About The Role:  As a Product Owner for Rev.io’s PSA platform, you will lead with a clear vision to deliver innovative and efficient Professional Services Automation and Billing solutions that meet and anticipate the needs of Rev.io’s MSP clients offering voice & data, mobile and collaboration services. Your goal is to transform user feedback and business objectives into actionable development efforts, fostering continuous product improvement and a client-first mindset. 

    Role Overview:  You will be responsible for maximizing the value delivered through our Professional Services Automation and Billing platform. Your primary tasks will involve taking ownership of the product backlog, aligning with the Product Manager on strategic goals, and ensuring clear communication of product scope and features. Your work will bridge the gap between business needs and the development team, turning complex requirements into streamlined product releases. 

    Key Responsibilities: 

    Product Roadmap Responsibilities: 

  • Work closely with the Product Manager to align on the product vision, strategy, and roadmap. 

  • Represent the needs and priorities of various stakeholders to ensure the product backlog addresses key business and customer requirements. 

  • Author PR FAQs to articulate the Professional Services Automation platform’s vision, new features, and value propositions for internal and external stakeholders. 

  • Define and clearly communicate product scope, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and business objectives. 

  • Oversee timelines, ensuring the product development and updates are delivered on time and within scope. 

  • Proactively engage with users and stakeholders to gather feedback, validate ideas, and understand their needs to ensure the product meets and exceeds customer expectations. 

  • Partner with cross-functional teams, including engineering, design, and marketing, to support the successful development and launch of new platform features. 

    Scrum Team Responsibilities: 

  • Translate feature backlog into detailed user stores, acceptance criteria and workflows that clearly convey product functionality to engineering teems. 

  • Own and manage the product backlog, maintaining clear, detailed, and prioritized entries that guide the Scrum team’s work. 

  • Lead ongoing product backlog refinement to ensure items are appropriately detailed, sized, and ready for development. 

  • Participate in all key Scrum events including Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective to provide guidance and feedback. 

  • Collaborate with the Scrum team to refine, prioritize, and order work items that maximize product value. 

  • Act as the main point of accountability for product-related decisions and clarifications during sprints. 

  • Provide the Scrum team with the necessary support and ensure that development aligns with the product vision and goals. 

    Qualifications: 

  • Proven experience as a Product Owner or in a similar role, preferably for a SaaS platform. 

  • Demonstrated participation in Scrum events for building new Product. 

  • Demonstrated expertise in product backlog refinement and prioritization. 

  • 2+ years' experience with a PSA solution, as an end user, through an implementation role, or in a product or engineering role. 

  • Strong understanding of the MSP Industry. 

  • Excellent written communication and organizational skills. 

  • Experience managing product scope and timelines. 

  • Demonstrated ability to represent stakeholder needs effectively and translate them into actionable user stories. 

  • Ability to proactively engage with users and stakeholders to gather insights and foster collaborative relationships. 

  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to handling complex challenges. 

    Preferred: 

  • Certification as a Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or similar. 

  • Knowledge and experience in telecommunications billing 

  • Experience with Azure Dev Ops (ADO) or similar work management systems 

  • Understanding of customer-centric product methodologies such as Amazon’s Working Backwards approach
