Randstad US Process Engineer in Atlanta, Georgia

The Process Engineer is a client facing role supporting the growth and retention of new and existing accounts. The Process Engineer will work on targeted projects individually, or in small team to evaluate the opportunity to provide human capital solutions to clients in alternative pricing structures. Projects require operational observations, data collection, cross functional communication and problem solving to create organizational development models to help clients improve their production and profitability through the design and implementation of outsourced solutions. Requires 50% travel across the US.

What you need to do:

  • Assist in the sales process through in-depth assessment of client priorities and design of custom solutions

  • Conduct analyses to understand value stream and process flows across client sites throughout the US

  • Maintain regular communication with key external client contacts and end users to provide tailored services and ensure the highest level of client satisfaction

  • Evaluate the material flow and area planning for warehouse operations, serving as the subject matter expert

  • Conduct worksite discovery and time study evaluations, as needed, followed by solution design, resulting in effective production improvement proposals to be presented to client

  • Utilize effective statistical analysis skills to clearly document current state performance and future state opportunities

  • Conduct Motion & Time Studies for the development of future engineered labor standards

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop program models that will meet client expectations while ensuring alignment with company policies

  • Plan line level processes for project work to drive operational efficiency

  • Create measurement standards to track operational performance and effectiveness in all engagements

  • Create ROI Strategies in working sessions with key client contacts to move projects toward results

  • Quantify the impact of the solution and deliver verified cost savings to clients

  • Re-design work processes continuously to drive efficiencies and optimization strategies, consulting with clients on production solutions that result in business improvement

  • Work as project manager on each new implementation, providing visibility into implementation effectiveness for senior management, while driving the execution of a detailed implementation timeline

What you need to bring:

  • Bachelor’s degree highly preferred in Industrial Engineering or related field

  • Graduate Degree Preferred

  • Six Sigma /Lean certification or other training in process

  • Improvement methodologies required

  • 10 years Business experience in manufacturing, logistics, distribution, warehouse, or contact center environment required

  • Consulting experience a plus

  • Proficiency using Google mail, calendaring and shared drives

  • Ability to develop strong working relationships with all levels

  • Recruitment experience in a high-volume environment

  • Proficient computer skills for accuracy in reporting and recording information – Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Experience in multi-tasking, prioritizing work, and effective time management skills

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Must be comfortable presenting to and influencing various levels of management

  • Strong leadership, problem solving, and decision making skills required

  • Must be innovative in approach, willing to take risks and operate successfully in ambiguous situations

  • Presentation skills must be engaging as well as informative

  • Ability to draw conclusions and create solutions based on limited information

Pay Rate: $163,770.00 - $103,721.00 Annually

Pay offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors including the candidate’s education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc. Based on eligibility, a successful candidate’s total compensation may include a variable pay plan including bonus(es) and/or commission(s). In setting compensation, Randstad complies with all local wage and hour laws and while the pay range listed above is an annual amount, non-exempt employees will be paid hourly and therefore receive the hourly equivalent.
