At Truist, our Personalization team is focused on strategic design and delivery of personalized client experiences, seamlessly connected across channels and touchpoints. The role of Personalization Orchestration Lead will be responsible for partnering with a cross-functional team to prioritize and direct the design, development and implementation of client journeys focused on promoting and selling Truist’s products and services within digital and teammate channels that drive client acquisition, engagement, retention, growth, or other cross-sell programs. Day-to-day tasks may include understanding and applying personalization strategies to develop journey roadmaps, identifying business requirements for supporting programs, applying agile principles to team working agreements, analyzing performance for iterative improvements to optimize CTRs and conversion rates, and collaborating with stakeholders to develop experiences that deliver on measurable business objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Research, develop and execute strategies for Truist online channels which increase acquisition, retention, profitability, and cross-sell of clients across Truist’s product lines.

  2. Develop digital marketing channels/tactics to increase product adoption and utilization.

  3. Partner with lines of business (LOB) and marketing strategists to develop product specific roadmaps which assist in achieving LOB goals through digital marketing strategies.

  4. Demonstrate a solid understanding of the consumer behavior model and user journeys, and how both are applied to banking products and services. Increase Truist product awareness, consideration, and acquisition by aligning consumer needs with Truist offerings throughout the consumer behavior process.

  5. Leverage web analytics and performance data to develop and refine digital marketing strategies, improve conversion rates and enhance client experiences across digital devices. Maintain appropriate reporting capabilities in order to establish and track KPIs, and communicate the value of web properties and digital marketing strategies to LOBs and senior management.

  6. Develop and execute personalization and targeting strategies based on customer segmentation studies and interactions of each client with the business and online.

  7. Stay current on the changes taking place in the digital environment. Research and evaluate industry trends, the competitive environment and emerging technologies. Adjust strategies accordingly to ensure Truist remains at a competitive advantage.

  8. Strong quantitative, technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with an aptitude for measuring results and identifying actionable insights.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent education and related training.

  2. Seven years of related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

  3. Deep specialized (SME) and/or broad knowledge within the marketing (or related) discipline.

  4. Sound and comprehensive understanding of business and organizational strategies and processes managing a process.

  5. Ability to interpret internal and external business challenges and implement best practices to improve products, processes, or services.

  6. Ability to lead projects of significant complexity and risk exposure, in addition to leading a team of professionals.

  7. Ability to exercise independent judgment in solving technical, operational, and organizational challenges in the context of business objectives and priorities.

  8. Sophisticated analytical skills and the ability to solve complex technical and business problems.

  9. Ability to influence others to adopt a new perspective.

  10. Knowledge of the industry's competitive landscape and an understanding of the market and regulatory factors that shape the industry.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Master's degree or MBA and previous experience in the banking industry

  2. Experience developing digital marketing strategies that drive traffic and conversions.

  3. Demonstrated ability to apply agile marketing methodologies and processes to large enterprise, cross-functional teams.

  4. Ability to develop strategies that break long-term goals into short term wins to facilitate learning, quick iteration, with shorter time to market and return on investment.

  5. Working knowledge of American Disabilities Act (ACT) compliance requirements.

  6. Experience with Adobe products (AEM, Target and Target, Analytics, Audience Manager and Adobe Cloud).

  7. Experience with API development, market automation platforms, content management systems, A/B multivariate testing and personalization tools.

Able to access and interpret client information received from the computer and able to hear and speak with individuals in person and on the phone.

Manual Dexterity / Keyboarding

Able to work standard office equipment, including PC keyboard and mouse, copy/fax machines, and printers.

Availability

Able to work all hours scheduled, including overtime as directed by manager/supervisor and required by business need.
