Emory Healthcare/Emory University Neural Mechanisms of Behavior in Small Animal Systems - Open Rank in Atlanta, Georgia

The Department of Psychology at Emory University (http://www.psychology.emory.edu) invites applications for a tenure-track position at any rank with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2025. We are specifically searching for applicants who make use of cutting edge neuroscience techniques in research with small animal systems. We seek applicants who will establish an independent, internationally visible, externally-funded program of research that advances our understanding of the mechanisms of behavior and cognition at both biological and psychological levels of analysis. Psychology at Emory is a scientific hub, with connections to researchers across Emory College, the School of Medicine, the Marcus Autism Center, and the Emory National Primate Center. Candidates who can engage with faculty across our department, including facuty in Developmental Science, Cognition and Computational Science, Behavioral and Systems Neuroscience, and Clinical Science are especially encouraged to apply.
