Primary Purpose:

Maintains and increases business levels with assigned national accounts.

Principal Duties:

  • Develops new business and retains existing business.

  • Resolves service and other logistical problems by finding creative solutions to customer needs, developing relationships with key customers and industry contacts, and staying up to date on industry developments and trends.

  • Uses all available resources to develop and maintain business levels and act as a team leader, coordinating the efforts of NS team members to meet customer needs.

  • Develops market and business plans to grow the business, increase market share and assist in location of new or expanded industries on NS.

  • Analyzes and provides accurate market intelligence, negotiated rates, service, equipment and any related needs that will improve our business level within described markets.

  • Provides accurate and timely business reports, forecasts, budget figures and other information as needed.

Job Related Experience:

Minimum Level: 3-5 years Preferred Level: 6-10 years

Education:

Preferred Level: Bachelor's Degree (MBA, BBA)
