Position Overview

Davey Resource Group is seeking a Module Washing Operator Foreman for our solar panel restoration line. In this role, you will be responsible for operating a cleaning attachment with equipment either solo or as part of a team restoring solar panels. The solar industry needs a global end-of-life partner to restore, renew, and ultimately restore solar panels on solar sites. Davey Resource Group aims to be the partner of choice for solar asset owners looking for a responsible solution to their end-of-life system needs, and we need you to lead our field operations to help us become a leader in this new burgeoning sector in the renewable energy industry.

Job Duties

  • Performs daily PMS and Documents

  • Operates assigned equipment to process materials

  • Completes machine adjustments, repairs, and troubleshoots equipment to ensure efficient machine operation

  • Performs preventative maintenance and preventative cleaning on equipment as assigned

  • Operates related production equipment, including Pre-Wash systems, Wash systems, Extrusion systems, forklifts, clamp trucks, and other related equipment

  • Safely performs work and is responsible for following all safety policies and procedures, including lock-out/tag-out procedures

  • Responsible for ensuring the line is fed with good quality raw materials to produce finished goods product quality

  • Responsible for adhering to all Good Manufacturing Practices GMP rules

  • Responsible for maintaining high standards relating to area housekeeping

  • Assists in other work areas as needed or directed by the department supervisor

  • Communicate with leadership and maintain all downtime events

  • Must have good attendance and be a self-starter

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma/GED.

  • Combination of additional education and experience.

  • Aptitude for math, problem-solving, computers, and mechanics.

  • Attention to detail.

  • Ability to work and communicate well with others.

  • Proficiency with hand tools.

  • Willing to perform repetitive tasks for extended periods

  • Must be able to work second shift.
