Position Overview:

Coca-Cola Credit Union is seeking a highly creative and motivated Marketing Specialist to join our team. This individual will be responsible for implementing data-driven and innovative marketing strategies and assist our VP of Marketing in conceptualizing and executing marketing campaigns that aim to enhance our credit union's growth, reputation, and market share. Must be a self-starter with exceptional project management skills, and able to work in a fast-paced environment. This position is a hybrid role and will require 25% travel.

Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the VP of Marketing in developing, implementing, and evaluating comprehensive marketing strategies, branding and promotional campaigns.

  • Oversee the development of creative assets for promotions, including graphics, images, videos, and copywriting.

  • Manage social media platforms and interface with members, increasing visibility, membership engagement and overall brand awareness.

  • Coordinate and implement various marketing projects to ensure deadlines and defined goals are met, increasing products and services per member.

  • Organize and execute community outreach activities and events.

  • Conduct market research to identify trends, member insights, and competitive analytics, which impact strategic initiatives and marketing strategies.

  • Manage relationships with third-party providers and outside creative agencies for copy development, artwork, layout, and scheduling as necessary.

  • Assist with other marketing duties and special projects as assigned.

Education Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communication, Public Relations or equivalent is required.

Related Work Experience:

Minimum 3 years marketing-related experience is required.

Functional Skills:

  • Experience within a financial institution (Credit Union or Bank) is highly desired, but not necessary.

  • Working knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator and/or InDesign experience highly preferred .
