ABM Industries Marketing Automation Specialist in Atlanta, Georgia

Overview

The Marketing Automation Specialist is a key player in executing our marketing strategy through hands-on, execution-focused responsibilities. In this role, you will design and implement the technical programs and assets necessary for our marketing campaigns through our marketing automation platform, Marketo. This role demands a high level of proficiency in technical tools and techniques, focused on building programs, assets, datasets, and automations – including but not limited to nurture and event programs, emails, landing pages, audience lists, and schedules/automations. You will also be responsible for tagging, tracking, and tokenization of all assets and programs for the purposes of performance measurement and optimizations.

Key Responsibilities:

Campaign Development and Execution

  • Manage day-to-day administration of Marketo campaigns, reporting, and database operations

  • Design, build, and deploy campaign and event programs, emails, landing pages, and other marketing assets within Marketo per stakeholder requirements

  • Develop and manage marketing automation workflows for campaigns and events, from conceptualization through to execution and analysis

Optimization through Tracking and Analytics

  • Implement tracking mechanisms, including but not limited to UTM parameters and Marketo tokens, to gather data on campaign performance and customer engagement

  • Create and maintain test and control audience groups to evaluate campaign impacts with statistical significance

  • Conduct regular A/B testing and other optimization strategies to improve campaign effectiveness, making data-driven decisions to enhance conversion rates and overall marketing ROI

Quality Assurance and Data Management

  • Perform end-to-end testing for all initiatives to ensure accurate, on-time execution across all channels and campaigns

  • Manage the marketing database, including segmentation, list management, and data cleanliness, to ensure audience quality

  • Stay abreast of Opt-in laws and privacy acts such as CAN-SPAM, GDPR, CCPA and CASL. Ensure compliance through advisement and proactive measures (e.g., build out or modify safe storage methods, implement automations for compliance, etc.).

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, information technology, or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing operations and marketing automation

  • Deep understanding of marketing automation best practices, campaign design, and data management

  • Exceptional problem-solving abilities and a data-driven mindset

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills

  • Marketing automation (Marketo strongly preferred )

  • CRM (Salesforce preferred)

  • ABM Databases/Platforms (ZoomInfo preferred, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, etc.)

  • Workflow Management Tools (Workfront preferred, Asana, Trello, etc.)

  • Preferred

  • Google Analytics a plus

  • IVR Phone Systems (Invoca, Aircall, etc.) a plus

  • Data Visualization Tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

  • Basic knowledge in SQL and scripting languages (R, Python)
