Intuit Marketing and Contracts Manager in Atlanta, Georgia

The primary responsibility for this role will be to provide contract support to Intuit's cross-functional business requesters in Marketing, Sourcing, Finance, among others. In addition, they will be responsible for assisting product and marketing teams in reviewing marketing materials, and identifying regulatory, privacy and intellectual property issues pertaining to assets.

What you'll bring

  • 5-8 years of experience reviewing marketing materials and negotiating various marketing agreements, terms of service, EULAs, etc.

  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrated experience in building deep relationships, communicating with colleagues and internal and external stakeholders, and working collaboratively towards team goals.

  • Proven track record of successfully adapting and thriving in a dynamic and evolving environment.

  • Working knowledge of intellectual property, specifically trademark and copyright laws, advertising, and consumer protection laws such as TCPA, CAN-SPAM, FTC and UDAAP.

  • Desire to learn new areas of marketing law and other marketing and privacy related laws and regulations.

  • Knowledge of legal terminology and commercial principles, such as but not limited to cancellations and returns, product and service representations and warranties, intellectual property ownership, limitation of liability, among others

  • Familiarity with fintech marketing regulatory requirements such as TILA, TISA, and NMLS is a plus.

  • Working knowledge of international marketing requirements, data privacy and security laws and regulations, or the desire to learn is highly advantageous.

How you will lead

Marketing

  • Review marketing and advertising content across all media, but not limited to, draft disclaimers, disclosures, offer terms and conditions, ensure compliance with contests and sweepstakes regulations.

  • Establish relationships with marketing and product teams for campaign development and claims substantiation.

  • Communicate content concerns and required edits diplomatically and concisely; explain the applicable advertising standard and regulatory basis for the changes, and recommend creative alternatives to ensure content is compliant.

Transactions

  • Review, draft, negotiate, and finalize inbound and outbound agreements, including SaaS, professional services, statements of work, purchase order terms and conditions, order forms, data processing agreements, and various other commercial agreements.

  • Develop strong relationships cross-functionally within legal and with various business stakeholders in sourcing, finance, security, and other subject matter experts internally and externally to align terms and conditions with Intuit's objectives and drive changes or adjustments as needed.

  • Work with cross-functional teams to ensure adherence to Intuit policies and practices, and adjust contract policies and processes to meet evolving business needs

Scaling for Impact

  • Drive process efficiency, build and develop guidelines and playbooks, and assist with transaction management.

  • Develop and provide on-going contracts-related training to various stakeholders.

  • Utilize CLM tools to assign and manage the contracts.

  • Review executed contracts against existing templates and manage research, assessment, and issue resolution, as necessary.
