Become a Lot Supervisor with Transdev!

Job Purpose

  • Manages field service to provide quality customer transportation services.

Transdev is proud of offer:

  • $18.00-20.00/ HR

Major Responsibilities:

  • Communicates job requirements and responsibilities to drivers.

  • Observes drivers on the lot to ensure they conduct a proper pre-trip and gives directions to Operators with safety concerns to ensure of on time pull outs.

  • Checks vehicles to ensure all equipment is functional (camera, fare box, etc.)

  • Assists with miscellaneous clerical tasks as needed.

  • Assigns vehicles to Operators and updates Dispatchers to ensure information is updated in Trapeze and on the DAS.

  • Collect and file white copies from the DVI book.

  • The ability to learn and execute skills such as Trapeze program, Outlook, and maintain regulatory compliance.

  • Additional duties as assigned.

Minimum Education & Certifications Required:

  • Supervisory experience preferred, with 2-3 years of transit supervisory experience preferred

  • Computer literate with working knowledge of Word, Excel and PowerPoint

  • Familiar with basic vehicle mechanical processes and maintenance

  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks and manage time effectively

  • Excellent verbal, written and relational communication skills, with ability to appropriately interact with employees of all levels including drivers, customers, senior management, client representatives, union officials and general public; fluent in English

  • Work extended hours regularly, including Saturday & Sunday

  • Demonstrate regular and consistent attendance and punctuality

  • Essential Job Functions:

  • Use of full ranges of hearing, speech and vision

  • Use of fingers (manual dexterity) handling paperwork

  • Stoop, crouch, squat or kneel when performing inspections of any type

  • Bend at knee, hip, waist when performing duties

  • Stand while performing inspections

  • Be subject to wet, cold or hot environmental conditions

  • Write reports in a coherent, legible way
