Description We are searching for a Legal Assistant based in Atlanta, Georgia. This role is in the real estate industry and will be situated in our Suwannee office. The role offers a short term contract employment opportunity and will primarily focus on the post-closing and disbursements of real estate transactions.

Responsibilities:

• Familiarize with the real estate documents and processes

• Handle the closing out of files associated with real estate transactions

• Assist with processing customer credit applications accurately and efficiently

• Maintain accurate customer credit records

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when needed

• Expect and manage a surge in Refinances

• Transition to other offices as per requirement

• Utilize skills in real estate and closing processes to perform duties effectively

• Resolve customer inquiries related to real estate transactions and closing processes. Requirements • Candidate must possess a Bachelor's degree in Law, Legal Studies, or a related field

• Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable

• Proficiency in Real Estate law is required

• Must have a thorough understanding of Closing Packages and Closing Processes

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential

• Strong organisational and multitasking abilities are necessary

• Must be capable of working independently and as part of a team

• Proficiency in using legal software and Microsoft Office Suite is required

• Must be detail-oriented with the ability to maintain accurate records

• Candidate must demonstrate a high level of professionalism and confidentiality

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines is essential.
