Insight Global is currently partnering with a Global leader in HVAC, Refrigeration, and Fire & Security hiring for a Lead Solutions Architect, Platforms and Integrations to join it's Digital Team. This Architect, will help design and ensure adherence to the design of multiple global digital products being developed within the Digital Ecosystem. This role will work on a range of software products critical to our clients continued business growth. As a Lead Solution Architect, you will be the technical and functional leader of a practice of architects responsible for solving complex business and technology issues, from strategy to execution. This position can sit remotely and pays an hourly rate of $80-90/HR.

Skills and Requirements

6+ years of hands-on, enterprise/professional software development experience

 5+ years of system design and architecture experience

 3+ years of engineering/development team leadership experience (Team Lead, Eng. Mgr, or similar)

 Proficiency designing, implementing, and operating software solutions that integrate multiple IaaS/PaaS/SaaS solutions to deliver a new business capability

 Proficiency designing, implementing, and operating software solutions for process automation, data transformation, data pipelines (Apache Airflow, AWS Step Functions, Boomi, etc.)

 Demonstrated ability and hands-on experience in developing modern, cloud-native, Infrastructure-as-Code software technologies to deliver industrial, enterprise-grade platform products and services is necessary

 Expertise in developing and deploying solutions in a serverless AWS (Amazon Web Services) environment. Proficiency with other cloud development a plus

 Experience gathering and analyzing system requirements

 Hands-on experience integrating solutions with enterprise record systems (ERP, CRM) Experience building up a new team of technology professionals

 Experience leading a team that drives digital transformation throughout the business

 Deep knowledge of cloud architecture, cloud native patterns, and cloud computing capabilities especially as offered by AWS

 Significant technical expertise in Cloud Computing technologies, scripting languages, integrating 3rd party monitoring tools, encryption tools and best practices, and forensics

 Implementation experience with enterprise security solutions such as WAF, IDS/IPS, Anti-DDOS, and SIEM

 Working knowledge of common and industry standard cloud-native/cloud-friendly authentication mechanisms (OAuth, OpenID, etc.)

 Experience with deployment orchestration, automation, and security configuration management (CircleCI, Jenkins, Puppet, Chef, Ansible, etc.)

 Strong skills and experience in Analytics Cloud migration and implementation, AWS services related to analytics, AI/ML, CI/CD

 Experience developing highly scalable applications using service-oriented, microservice, and/or RESTful

 API-based architectures at an enterprise scale

 Experience in messaging platforms, protocols, and technologies

 Design for failover, high availability, MTTR, MTTF and MTBF

 Experience in designing and implementation of automated backup and restoration of application/web servers/databases/data lakes

 Experience in networking, including security analysis, firewall configuration, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

 Experience with container technologies (AWS ECS/EKS/Fargate, Kubernetes, etc) as well as AWS serverless technologies and architecture patterns

 Experience in using AWS Key management systems (KMS)

 Familiarity with service Mesh technologies (App mesh, Istio, Envoy, Consul, etc) null
