Infosys is seeking a Mainframe application Lead. As a Mainframe developer need to modernize mainframe applications. You should be able to analyze existing code and extract business rules and document the rules. Any previous experience in Banking Payments, Modernizing Mainframe applications into dotnet or Java will be added advantage. This position is based in Charlotte, NC, Raleigh, NC, Birmingham AL and Atlanta GA. Candidate should be located within commuting distance or be willing to relocate to this area. This position may require relocation and/or travel to project locations.

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education. At least 4 years of Information Technology experience. Experience in Mainframe, Cobol, CICS, DB2.

Preferred Qualifications At least 6 years of experience in supporting Mainframes production environments. Atleast 4 years of experience on IBM Mainframe technologies such as COBOL, DB2, CICS, JCL, SQL and VSAM. Additional experience in Java, Python, dot Net will be added advantage. Experience in any banking tools like ACI MTS, ACH PEP , Checks IBM FTM, Lockbox Deluxe, Real-time payments Zelle. Experience in Banking and Finance domain. Experience with Agile Development, SCRUM, or Extreme Programming methodologies. Strong problem solving, analytical and interpersonal skills. Excellent written and verbal communication, ability to multitask, work well under demanding situations, prioritize and meet deadline. The job entails sitting as well as working at a computer for extended periods of time. Should be able to communicate by telephone, email or face to face. Travel may be required as per the job requirements
