Robert Half Help Desk Analyst I in Atlanta, Georgia
Description We are looking for a Help Desk Analyst I to join our team based in ATLANTA, Georgia. This role involves providing first-level technical support, helping to manage and maintain IT systems, and working collaboratively with a team of IT professionals.
Responsibilities:
• Providing first-level contact and problem resolution for all users with hardware, software, and applications problems.
• Resolving user-reported problems using available tools and following procedures and policies for the handling of support cases.
• Conducting diagnosis of problems, providing recommendations for improvement of large-scale IT systems.
• Managing the processing of incoming calls to the Help Desk via telephone and e-mail to ensure courteous, timely, and effective resolution of end-user issues.
• Developing and sustaining knowledge of current technology and systems for effective troubleshooting and problem solving.
• Working closely with other team members, especially within the IT department, to ensure swift resolution of faults and user issues.
• Utilizing and maintaining the helpdesk tracking software.
• Documenting internal procedures.
• Assisting with onboarding of new users.
• Managing PC setup and deployment using standard hardware, images, and software.
• Assigning work orders, incidents, and requests to the appropriate support teams and follow up on the status. Requirements • Proficiency in Citrix Technologies is required
• Familiarity with Database systems and operations
• Understanding and experience with EO/IR systems
• Experience with Lotus Notes is advantageous
• Proficiency in various Microsoft software and tools
• Experience with Active Directory is required
• Knowledge of Computer Hardware is essential
• Ability to perform Configuration Management tasks
• Experience in Deskside Support is beneficial
• Familiarity with Desktop Hardware is necessary Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
