Robert Half GRC Senior Specialist in Atlanta, Georgia

Description

Our client is seeking a permanent fulltime GRC Senior Specialist to join their team. Hybrid 2 days remote weekly. They need a hands on GRC SME with 5+ years of experience supporting a wide breadth of GRC items across legal, IT, security, sales, and product functions. This is an individual contributor role.

• Maintain internal and external trust platforms, supporting ongoing customer due diligence activities such as audits, questionnaires, and reviewing security contractual requirements.

• Develop tools and resources to enable the sales team to efficiently respond to compliance inquiries from prospective and existing customers.

• Work with cross-functional teams to support and enhance the overall GRC program, ensuring company policies, procedures, and controls align with regulatory requirements and industry standards.

• Provide technical security guidance to legal, sales, and marketing departments regarding regulatory and data protection requirements.

• Stay abreast of industry trends and gather customer feedback to adapt and mature the GRC program accordingly.

• Implement improvements and updates to the program based on regulatory changes and customer requirements.

• Participate in risk assessment and risk management processes.

• Provide training and guidance to sales teams on compliance-related matters.

• Work closely with technical stakeholders to build and scale our global customer-facing Information Security and GRC programs.

• Assist in building competencies in the rest of the team and develop the maturity and scale of the Customer Trust program.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience supporting a wide breadth of GRC items across legal, IT, security, sales, and product functions

• Proficient in ISO 27001 standards and procedures

• Familiarity with SOC (Service Organization Control) standards

• Strong understanding of Data Privacy principles and regulations

• Prior experience in Compliance within a corporate environment

• Knowledge and experience in Corporate Governance practices

• Proven experience in Enterprise Risk Management

• Bachelor's degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field

• Excellent analytical and decision-making skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High level of integrity and professional accountability.
