As the manager of a new branch in a tax preparation office, the employee will oversee daily operations, ensuring the efficient management of staff and workflows. This includes supervising tax preparers, administrative personnel and customer service representatives while establishing and refining processes for client intake, document preparation and tax filing in compliance with company policies and legal requirements. The manager will handle escalated client concerns, maintain high levels of customer satisfaction and implement strategies to attract and retain clients. They will oversee the use and maintenance of tax preparation software and office equipment, ensuring all staff are trained and proficient. Additionally, the manager will monitor branch performance metrics, such as revenue, client satisfaction and efficiency, while working with corporate leadership to set goals and implement strategies for growth and profitability. Ensuring compliance with data security and regulatory standards is also a key responsibility.
