Director Rx Strategy Programs & Sales Proposals

Location: This position will work in a hybrid model (remote and office). The ideal candidate will live within 50 miles of one of our Elevance Health PulsePoint locations. Elevance Health supports a hybrid workplace model with PulsePoint sites used for collaboration, community, and connection.

The Director Rx Strategy Program & Sales Proposals is responsible for developing and implementing short- and long-term proposal strategies for profitable growth and improving business performance.

How you will make an impact:

  • Manages tactical plans of business unit objectives and ensures cross functional teams achieve targeted measures.

  • Oversees planning, developing, monitoring, coordinating, and executing of Proposal team performance to determine compliance to proposal obligations.

  • Leads our content team and is responsible for enhancing and maintaining our core repository of proposal answers in Ombud.

  • Analyzes, researches, and develops complex business materials and documents relating to health issues, business performance, market dynamics, operational issues, and general business plan issues.

  • Acts as liaison to shared services partners to ensure efficient and seamless business management and development.

  • Executes on all internal business planning functions.

  • Coordinates communication and implementation of key decisions of business unit.

  • Identifies and implements best practice sales support process.

  • Ensures compliance with departmental policies and procedures.

  • Assist with competitive analysis on products, pricings, and network.

  • Provides quality control services by monitoring work results of direct reports.

  • Hires, trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.

  • Directs and coordinates activities and workflow of staff engaged in writing proposals.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Requires a BA/BS degree in a related field and a minimum of 10 years of related experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.

Preferred Skills, Capabilities, and Experience:

  • MBA preferred.

  • Tech-savvy process optimizer

  • Innovation enthusiast

  • Skilled mentor and trainer strongly preferred

  • Updated in PBM domain strongly preferred
