Please review the following job description:

Responsible for leadership of the ongoing design, execution, governance and continuous improvement of all operational and workforce strategies for retail banking. Accountable for the direction and oversight of the Workforce Deployment function including strategic workforce planning, workforce forecasting and scheduling, and end-to-end resource management for Community Branch Banking.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  1. Lead, drive and implement key initiatives for workforce planning and operations, such as strategic planning; financial management; issues management; risk controls; special projects; teammate engagement and retention; effective communication channels for the business unit; resource management; and other business unit logistics.

  2. Responsible for partnering with Finance, Human Resources, Talent Acquisition, and CSBB executives to set CSBB workforce strategies; develop strategic and tactical staffing forecasting and resource deployment, set staffing levels and deliver staffing plans, and execute staffing actions and workforce movement.

  3. Responsible for CSBB operational programs, including but not limited to: SAFE Act Administration, Operational Authorities, and Signature Medallion Stamp.

  4. Responsible for leading teams that develop strategic and tactical staffing plans, to include optimization opportunities, used in the community branch banking network. Accountable for managing and controlling community branch banking staffing expense and the CSBB Operations financial plan.

  5. Provide advanced analytics and reporting support for community branch banking and CSBB Operations; lead development and tracking of metrics including branch workforce metrics and KPIs related to staffing levels, turnover, vacancy, workforce movement, scheduling, and time worked.

  6. Lead a team responsible for scheduling branch teammates across community branch banking.

  7. Manage vendor and technology relationships related to workforce management software solutions.

  8. Maintain subject matter expertise with the competitive landscape including trends, and regulations.

  9. Provide consultation to RSBB executives on workforce strategy and execution and incentive designs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Required Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in Business, or equivalent education and related training or experience

  2. 15+ years relevant work experience in operations, administration, risk management, workforce management, human resources, management consulting or in the financial services industry

  3. 10+ years supervisory experience with direct and indirect management, including management of supervisors

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Advanced Business Degree (MBA, MS, MA, etc.)

  2. Project/Program Management certification

  3. Experience leading teams that support front lines or support functions in a large, complex organizations

  4. Experienced in significant business change and ambiguity in a highly regulated environment

  5. Proven success leading large scale initiatives and change management processes

  6. Proven ability to establish positive relationships leveraging influencing skills with key business partners, peers and executives at all levels of the organization

  7. Experience in mentoring, coaching, and providing feedback to senior leaders; easily and confidently accomplishes work by positively influencing the actions of others
