As the Director of Internal Communications - Corporate Communications you will take a leadership role in developing and implementing communication strategies that inform, educate, engage and foster pride among global employees. The director will create and distribute timely, relevant and interesting announcements globally to keep employees educated, informed and engaged on all elements of Equifax strategy and internal initiatives. Supplementing written materials with internal events that augment the employee experience and ensuring messaging continuity across communications tactics are paramount. The Director of Internal Communications will also provide strategic internal communications counsel to assigned Centers of Excellence (COEs), including developing and implementing communications plans, developing key messages and facilitating internal events to help achieve desired outcomes.

What You'll Do: Establishing an integrated internal communications strategy in conjunction with the Executive/Internal Communications leader, the Equifax Corporate Communications team and Equifax Centers of Excellence (COEs). Hands-on development and support for internal communications that are story-driven, creatively written and audience-centric. Development and support for interactive components and opportunities to foster two-way dialogue among employees and leaders. Understanding the Equifax global employee audience and segment appropriately to deliver timely and relevant messages. Drive communications effectiveness through strategic projects that cut across the Corp Comms team to deliver stronger effectiveness, cohesion and consistency in messaging and processes. Ensuring consistent style and rigorous review protocols for employee communications, to include brand, legal, government relations and executive review as needed. Support internal employee events as required, injecting fun and creativity to enhance the Own, write and provide design/visuals for assigned content across all internal channels (e-mail, intranet, video, digital signage, etc.) and contribute to external content as needed (social media, Newsroom, etc.), liaising with the creative/brand teams, business unit and regional communicators to promote and deploy innovative communications assets in support of business objectives. Develop and implement team planning, processes and integrated calendaring through tools such as SmartSheets, supporting a 360 promotional strategy for content. Develop and deploy dashboards and reports in a comprehensive metrics package, outlining actionable insights and key takeaways. Partner across Corporate Communications to develop and measure KPIs (reach, engagement, perception and similar) and manage regular reporting to influence team strategy and tactics for continuous improvement.

What You Bring: At least 7 years of communications experience, with a minimum of 5 years within a large, matrixed organization. Understanding of the legal guidelines governing internal communications for a public company Excellent writing skills with the ability to adapt voice and tone to meet the needs of executive stakeholders. Ability to support and extend external communications, executive initiatives, community as well as HR initiatives to an internal audience. Strong project management skills with the ability to balance multiple time-sensitive activities. Collaborative, team-oriented professional with the ability to work across a matrixed and geographically diverse organization. Experience with Poppulo or other internal communications platforms.
