Honeywell Director, Labor Relations in Atlanta, Georgia

Director Labor Relations

This key leadership role in the Labor and Employee Relations (LER) COE leads the global LER function for the Honeywell Building Automation (BA) business based in Atlanta, Georgia.

Key responsibilities include:

• Creating and driving time-sensitive and vital employee relations strategies across BA

• Lead role managing LER aspects of repositioning and global footprint projects

• Communicating emerging LER practices and legislation and implications for these businesses

• Leveraging Voice of the Employee data to drive engagement and support employee work experiences

• Partnering with the businesses and deploying labor and employment relations activities to human resource professionals and cross functional leaders to support business strategies

• Coordinating labor and legal departments in order to adhere to local, state, and legal requirements

• Conducting due diligence for potential mergers and acquisitions as well as supporting integration processes

• Adding value to the team by utilizing labor and employee relations expertise to partner with internal and external stakeholders in a global company

• Negotiating labor contracts

• Managing employee relations programs and training • Global travel requirements approximately 30% YOU MUST HAVE:

• Bachelor's degree or higher

• Experience in a represented environment

• Global labor and employee relations experience

• Process orientation, including project management skills and ability to use data

• Able to find the correct balance between demand and capacity when establishing priorities for the organization

• Strong communicator with ability to artfully convey even subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience

• Experience with contract negotiations

• Experience with employee relations in a non-union environment

• Able to collaborate effectively and lead teams across organizations

• Experience with employee relations in a non-union environment
