IHG Director, HR Technology, Learning Solutions in Atlanta, Georgia
Role Purpose
Director, HR Technology, Learning Solutions is responsible for driving the evolution of technological capabilities across the Learning eco-system to support enterprise Learning Strategies. This role will leverage technical and product expertise, configuration capabilities, and research, both partnered and independent to deliver scalable and sustainable solutions. Central to this role is the ability to serve as an internal consultant and solution provider across the IHG University.
Your day to day
Collaboration and Optimization : Partner with internal and external stakeholders to evaluate and enhance existing and emerging learning technologies, focusing on integration, data management, and alignment with learning strategies to maximize investment.
Product Development and Accountability : Direct the prioritization of technology enhancements and engage vendors and service providers to ensure accountability and timely resolution of service requests in line with strategic initiatives, ensure the right ecosystem and collaboration tools are in place to deliver against priorities
Deployment Strategy Execution : Collaborate with HR Delivery and other key groups to create and manage integrated deployment strategies based on the HR Technology Roadmap, addressing any defects and support needs. Create and maintain overarching technology strategy, roadmap, and plan, leading the research, solutioning, and implementation activities for multiple initiatives across the Learning ecosystem, including ownership of user experience
Governance and Process Improvement : Implement and enforce a governance framework for effective operations, manage planning tools for Learning Technology initiatives, and strive for continuous improvement in user experiences through collaboration and feedback. Drive measurement and evaluation of the impact of learning technology to help refine and continually improve and optimize our learning investment. Drive the evolution of technological capabilities across the Learning eco-system to support enterprise Learning Strategies.
Team Management and Communication : Lead the Applied Learning Technology Team, establish effectiveness measures, and communicate updates and strategies to leadership and stakeholders, while applying best practices from the learning industry to meet business and consumer needs.
What we need from you
Hold a 4-year degree in Business Administration or a related field, with over 7 years of experience in managing large-scale projects and complex ecosystems involving multiple solution providers.
Prior configuration experience with Learning Management Systems (SumTotal and other Cornerstone products would be advantages), Content Management Systems (Xyleme Syndicate would be advantages), Learning Record Stores, Learning Experience Platforms, Artificial Inelegance, Adaptive Learning Platforms powers personalization tools
Demonstrates strong consultative skills, coordinating across diverse stakeholders, planning large-scale deployments, and delivering executive-level content effectively. Demonstrated ability to lead and manage in-direct resources, including functional partners and external consultants respectively
Possesses strong analytical skills to distill complex information for senior management, along with the ability to build relationships and influence across all organizational levels.
Exhibits strategic thinking and creativity in designing scalable global solutions, while staying informed about market trends and emerging developments in learning and HR strategies.
Location - This role can be based in any metropolitan US city.
The salary range fro this role is $100,000 to $130,000. This role is also eligible for bonus pay. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including paid time off, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401K and other benefits to employees.
