How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

The Senior Analyst, Technical Procedures performs a variety of duties associated with the development and maintenance of aircraft maintenance manuals, wiring diagram manuals, component maintenance manuals, illustrated parts catalog and other manuals related to interior modifications and STCs. The Senior Analyst will develop from scratch new sections of manuals utilizing newly released engineering and SolidWorks 3D CAD to DFP, FAA, and iSpec 2200 standards. The position will be responsible for both technial writing and illustration of manuals and certain training for less experienced analysts. Ability to train less experienced tech pubs personnel.

JOB DUTIES

  • Develop and maintain technical publication procedures.

  • Draft and check CMM, IPC, AMM, WDMs for proposed major design changes related to interior modifications.

  • Technial Writing and Illustration of manuals and training for less experienced analysts.

  • Any administrative aspects of technical publications.

  • Audit Company compliance to procedures.

  • Interface with customers, suppliers and other project stakeholders pertaining to technical publications of modification projects.

  • Provide statements of work, completion schedules, and other project administrative inputs.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • A&P and/or technical degree strongly preferred. Equivalent experience may be considered.

Six (6) years overall work experience.

  • Must possess strong knowledge of technical procedures.

  • *

Must have strong computer skills and demonstrate proficiency with MS Office programs and Adobe Illustrator required.

  • Must be able to interpret engineering documents/drawings, analytical reports, Federal Aviation Regulations, and OEM manuals and ICAW reports/manuals.

STC process knowledge preferred.

  • Process improvement and problem-solving background with strong analytical skills desired.

Excellent written and oral communication skills required.

  • Consistently prioritizes safety and security of self, others, and personal data.

Embraces diverse people, thinking, and styles.

  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.

  • *

Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

  • Minimum of 6 years in Technical Procedures AMM/IPC/WDM/CMM experience and training, A&P, and/or technical degree preferred
