Job Description

A fortune 500 client of Insight Global is looking for a junior DevOps/Systems Engineer to join their team for a 1-year project. The project is to migrate all CI from the current Concourse/TeamCity/Jenkins implementation to GitHub Actions Paved Road (Paved Road is a company internal customization of GitHub Actions). This person will be converting the existing pipelines for teams that dont have the bandwidth or knowledge to do it themselves. They will leverage guides written by the DevTools team to accomplish this task. This person will also communicate with teams and leverage Project Mangers for more information. This person is expected to complete, on average, 40-45 pipelines conversions a week.

PR: $35-$45/HR

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Skills and Requirements

• Experience building out CI/CD pipelines

   - Experience working with GitHub Actions

   - Understanding different build tools (ie: Concourse, TeamCity, Jenkins)

   - Experience in one of these Languages: JavaScript and Bash, YML and Groovy

   - Understanding of Docker

Strong debugging skills - Strong GitHub Actions Exp
