Robert Half Desktop Support Analyst in Atlanta, Georgia

Description We are in the search for a Desktop Support Analyst to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. The selected candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including processing IT support requests, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and assisting with system upgrades. This role also entails computer setup and decommissioning, inventory management, and ensuring efficient and accurate completion of tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently handle daily IT support requests from users

• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues

• Offer basic support for software applications, including Windows OS and Microsoft Office

• Assist in deploying system updates, ensuring minimal disruption to end-users

• Set up new computers and peripherals for employees, ensuring proper configuration and security settings

• Decommission outdated hardware following the organization's protocols for data security

• Monitor and prioritize support tickets to ensure timely resolution

• Provide technical assistance to end-users via phone, email, and in-person support when necessary

• Maintain accurate records of IT assets, including hardware and software inventory

• Document troubleshooting steps and resolutions in the ticketing system

• Create and update knowledge base articles to assist with common issues

• Support antivirus system changes and assist in troubleshooting any issues that arise

• Aid in the rollout of Microsoft Office upgrades across the organization

• Track equipment deployment, returns, and disposal in line with company policies. Requirements • Proficiency in Android Development, with an ability to troubleshoot and resolve software issues

• Comprehensive knowledge of Cisco Technologies, including the setup, configuration, and management of Cisco systems

• Demonstrable experience with Citrix Technologies, particularly in administering and maintaining Citrix environments

• Solid understanding of Computer Hardware, capable of performing hardware installations, repairs, and upgrades

• Familiarity with Dell Technologies, including the ability to manage and troubleshoot Dell systems

• Experience with Active Directory, including user account management and group policy configuration

• Proficiency in managing and troubleshooting Apple Devices, including iPhones, iPads, and Mac computers

• Knowledge of various Backup Technologies, with an ability to implement and manage backup solutions effectively

• Experience in Configuration Management, including the ability to ensure system configuration accuracy and consistency. Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
