TK Elevator is currently seeking an experienced Data Retention and Privacy Officerin Atlanta, GA.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: You will be a member of the NA incident response team in connection with any incident involving the potential compromise of data. You will support the implementation of TKEs global Data Protection Management System and will be responsible to adjust the management system to meet local statutory requirements. You will be the contact person and provide advice on data privacy topics to the appropriate corporate departments. You will monitor and counsel the teams managing digitalization projects at TK Elevator from a data privacy perspective. You will coordinate and monitor global data protection assessments, review measures and implementation steps and conduct assessments of current situation and data privacy regulations. You will support the functions to establish measurement plans and support the respective implementation. You will identify projects and processes related to data privacy. You will implement a sustainable privacy by design approach, analyze and evaluate data privacy-relevant contracts and create regular data privacy standard reports for various stakeholders. You are involved in the development as well as implementation of e-learnings and classroom trainings. You will be responsible to develop, implement and enforce the data retention schedule framework.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: You accomplished a university degree in (economic) computer science, law, business administration or comparable areas. An accepted Data Protection / Privacy Certification or equivalent (CIPP/US or CISSP). Preferably ITIL Foundation or comparable ITSM certification (e.g. COBIT, ISO/IEC 20000-1) You have at least 5 years of working experience in review of complex IT-systems and in analyzing data protection / privacy processes as well as evaluating thereof in IT systems. You will have significant experience with data security and data privacy. You will be familiar with state and federal data privacy laws, rules and regulations. You will have handled incident response and the legal implications of same. You have experience in data privacy consultation. You have excellent knowledge of Microsoft and user knowledge of other relevant programs such as Oracle. You have a good knowledge about IT-Technologies used to process PII. You have high analytical skills and the will to take on responsibility. You have experience in working with internationally geographically distributed teams You possess a strong solution oriented approach. You possess a high level of spoken and written English; ability to understand and communicate in additional languages is an advantage. You possess strong working skills utilizing standard office technologies (Microsoft Windows, MS O365, etc.). You have excellent communication skills (both written and verbal), including active listening, with strong presentation and facilitation skills. You have a willingness to travel.
