The Creative Portfolio Manager role at Truist revolves around enabling our Creative Marketing efforts through the process, with a strategic mindset and project management expertise. This role will help support and lead the day to day project operations around launching, developing and delivering Marketing Creative tactics across Truist’s marketing channels. Utilize your expertise to bring both art and science together to support our Mortgage Loan Officer (MLO)teammates in their efforts to drive B2B(e.g. realtors and builders) and B2C Mortgage performance for Truist. Support our ability to evolve the Truist MLO presence in a scalable manner.

This position will sit within the Consumer and Small Business Brand and Enterprise Marketing organization and report to the Lending Marketing Group Senior Manager. This role will work effectively across the Marketing ecosystem, to lead the development and execution of marketing elements that enable and elevate our MLO’s with clients.

This leader will strategize how we should be thinking differently and identifying client insights that will allow us to relate with our current clients and new to bank households; strengthening the MLO client relationship. This role will leverage both qualitative and quantitative feedback to optimize messaging and materials strategy for efficiency and effectiveness.

Serve as the SME and project lead for various creative and content projects to ensure alignment to MLO needs and the Truist Purpose and Brand. As part of the Marketing team, you will have support to help guide your test and learn approach, as well as the resources to execute upon it.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Apply in-depth and specialized expertise and/or a significant breadth of expertise in Marketing and other related disciplines including creative development and market research. Lead the creative deliverable team (content and design) through a matrix organization to prioritize and complete work. Effective communication to internal stakeholders in a timely, relevant manner based on deeply understanding the Truist Creative Agency process are required. Receive, kick-off, manage, track and deliver creative deliverables through the process and keep all stakeholders apprised of the progress. Act as a thought leader, and influence approval among key stakeholders. Interpret strategic briefs and goals for creative work and craft useful Creative Briefs to aid the creative teams in their development of creative work that is differentiated and will be useful/interesting to the target audience. Track and report on quantity, quality, timeliness and approvals surrounding the work you manage. Deliver on quality work on time with consensus. Use, understand and become expert in the process and the project management software (WorkFront). Make leadership decisions within established policies, procedures, and established objectives. Ability to establish and maintain strong collaborative relationships with business partners. Work closely with business SMEs and marketing partners to provide business and project-related expertise and execution enablement. Directly impact the achievement of client, operational, project, service, and risk management objectives. Work independently, with guidance in only the most complex and unusual situations.

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent education and related training. Five - Seven years of related experience; Deep specialized (SME) and/or broad knowledge within the marketing (or related) discipline. Consumer banking product experience, preferably Mortgage, Lending or Credit Card. Demonstrated Mortgage Marketing, Sales and/or Sales Enablement experience. Expertise in interpreting internal and external data including client research insights to develop messaging, creative and other critical Sales Enablement creative artifacts. Ability to exercise independent judgment in solving operational, and organizational challenges in the context of business objectives and priorities. Experience in home lending marketing. Proven experience supporting sales teams. Sophisticated understanding of clients through interpretation and user research and analytics. Strong relationship building skills resulting in the ability to influence others to adopt a new perspective. Strong presentation skills and communication skills. Experience with Excel and PowerPoint preparing presentations for senior level teammates.

Preferred Qualifications:

MBA or Master’s degree in related field Ten years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and work experience
