Internal Video Interns in the Atlanta office will assist staff with crafting corporate video/audio in all phases of production for external and internal distribution. Daily, an intern within Corp Comm will work to manage media, assist on productions on location, and assist the content creation team. Some travel will be required. This opportunity affords interns exposure to all Norfolk Southern departments involved with video/audio content, and the capacity to contribute creative content used by the company for their social media, internal media platforms and external clients’ needs.
What makes a successful Corporate Communications Video Intern
A motivated self-starter committed to learning the ins and outs of corporate videography and photography
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
Willingness to study video software, ask questions and resolve problems
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
Solid interpersonal skills along with the ability to receive and grow from constructive feedback
Ability to manage time, prioritize work demands effectively, and meet deadlines without sacrificing standards of work
Ability to interact with various levels of management while being positive and professional
Education/Experience:
Pursuing a Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree
Preferred Degree Paths: Film, Entertainment and Media Studies, and majors in a similar field of study will be considered
Experience with Adobe Premiere Pro, camera and lighting equipment
Relevant film coursework
Previous work experience in the film industry

Work Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM , during the months of May to August.
