Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a Controller in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing all accounting operational functions, consolidating financial data, and leading the department staff. You will be working in a fast-paced environment, interacting with multiple departments and playing a crucial role in our financial decision-making process.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the functions of the finance department including accounts payable, billings & collections, and payroll.

• Conduct monthly and yearly close of income statement and balance sheet, perform account reconciliations & G/L analysis.

• Prepare and present detailed cash-flow reports, projecting cash needs at weekly and monthly intervals, and manage daily cash.

• Coordinate the timing for monthly billing and implement cash management techniques to ensure timely cash collection.

• Prepare and present monthly financial reports to the executive committee and partners.

• Assist in the creation of the annual budget and forecasts, monitor them on a monthly basis.

• Use Microsoft Excel for data management and report generation.

• Apply knowledge of Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) in daily operations.

• Utilize your skills in Auditing and Budget Processes to ensure financial accuracy and adherence to regulations. Requirements • Proficiency in Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Experience in Auditing is essential

• Strong knowledge of Budget Processes

• Profound skills in Microsoft Excel

• Excellent communication and organizational skills

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

• Demonstrated leadership abilities

• A degree in finance, business, or a related field is required

• Certification such as CPA (Certified Public Accountant) or CMA (Certified Management Accountant) is preferred

• Proven experience in a similar role, preferably within the finance sector

• Familiarity with financial software and systems

• High level of integrity and professionalism

• Ability to multitask and manage time effectively

• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

• Excellent decision-making skills
