We’re currently hiring for a ​ Communications Associate, Health​.

As a Communications Associate, Health you will:

  • Support project managers in strategic communications planning, assisting with digital communications, campaign management, materials development, and outreach activities.

  • Provide administrative and logistics support across projects including managing project timelines, meetings, deliverables, and work plans, and developing meeting notes and monthly project reports.

  • Coordinate communication product development, working with our client creative services and digital services team to write, edit and design educational and promotional materials to support a range of communication efforts.

  • Support implementation of communication strategies and tactics to reach and engage audiences to increase visibility of government data, resources, and materials.

  • Works with senior team members to provide technical support for digital library of campaign resources, and monthly webinar execution and follow-up.

  • Co-lead project support for the development and implementation of public health-focused social media campaigns, working with paid and digital services to develop and launch campaigns on platforms including Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, etc.

As a​ Communications Associate, Health​, you will have:

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in health communication, public relations, social sciences, public health, or equivalent required.

  • 2+ years of health communication, marketing communications, or public relations, experience.

  • U.S. Citizenship (required by Federal government for position)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Candidates with 2+ years of federal health and/or public relations, creative, or media agency experience.

  • Candidates with 2+ years of experience working with the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.

  • Candidates with project management skills or certifications.

  • Candidates with experience coordinating the development, launch, and tracking of social media campaigns.

Professional Skills:

  • Strong writing skills for various materials and channels; examples include short-form digital content, web content, social media, news releases, fact sheets, and newsletter copy.

  • Demonstrated ability to self-start and interface effectively with project team members and clients. 

  • Excellent interpersonal, written, and organizational skills, with ability to prioritize, manage and communicate multiple tasks at a given time.

  • Ability to think creatively and contribute to solutioning clients’ communications challenges/problems (e.g., new influencer engagement or ways to visualize complex information).

Job Location(s): This role will be supported within a commutable distance of ICF established offices; hybrid work is fully supported. For specific circumstances and candidates, ICF will consider a full-time remote role.

Pay Range - There are multiple factors that are considered in determining final pay for a position, including, but not limited to, relevant work experience, skills, certifications and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location, education and certifications as well as contract provisions regarding labor categories that are specific to the position.

The pay range for this position based on full-time employment is:

$47,717.00 - $81,118.00
