Job Description

An Insight Global client is looking for a strong Java or Cloud engineer to join their Platform team. This will not be a typical backend, heads-down coding role but rather looking for someone senior enough that has strong experience working in the cloud and can pivot from coding to researching, to updating a CICD pipelines or configuring the SSLC all in a day. This role will need someone who is innovative and curious so that they can identify a problem, research the best way to solve it and work on getting it done. The team is also heavily involved in a cloud migration right now from PCF to GCP so experience migrating, refactoring, and rewriting this type of code could be helpful.

Compensation:

$50/hr to $70/hr.

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Skills and Requirements

* 10+ years of experience in Java development

o Expertise in SpringBoot framework

* Strong GCP cloud experience

o Experience in an SRE/DevOps space could help

o GKE for CICD configurations

* Experience with some of the following tools or anything comparable:

o Cassandra

o Elastic

o Messaging (PubSub or Kafka)

o Redis null
