Chenega Enterprise Systems & Solutions, LLC, a Chenega Professional Services ’ company, is looking for a AV Systems Engineer to design, develop, integrate, install, program and implement CDC conference room and auditorium AV/VTC systems including the Global Communications Center (GCC), Roybal Building 21 Office of the Director Suite as well as other Atlanta federal or leased space facilities. The role will participate in projects for the Meeting Management Technology (MMT) Services and support their mission to enhance organizational effectiveness by linking all Coordinating Centers and Offices and CDC/ATSDR sites with each other, and with various other Federal agencies and public health partners through the development of high quality, reliable, audio, web and video conferencing services as well as local in room conference audio visual support.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop and plan standardized internal, and vendor provided AV hardware and software audiovisual solutions for CDC conference rooms and auditoriums.

  • Manage the installation, programming and integration of AV/VTC systems.

  • Design and develop audiovisual and meeting room technology AV standards.

  • SharePoint administration and records management of Meeting Management project documentations including scale drawings, programming code, blueprints and other project documentation.

  • Crestron Fusion and Crestron E-Control application management and administration including maintaining Certification and Accreditation status.

  • Provide best-in-class task and timeline management for multiple complex Q-SYS programming.

  • Troubleshoot and maintain the A/V systems.

  • Test all GCC and Building 21 Office of Director (OD) audiovisual, video and lighting system equipment to ensure proper operation.

  • Maintain GCC equipment usage logs.

  • Perform all required maintenance and recommend system upgrades.

  • Test and operate GCC computer-controlled lighting systems, front and rear projection equipment, and recording equipment.

  • Maintain AV infrastructure maintenance solutions.

  • Complete shipping and tracking for new and repurposed equipment and facilitate repairs.

  • Provide systems training to staff following system upgrades and equipment replacement.

  • Promote and adhere to the standardization of AV systems, designs and programming control code.

  • Complete administration activities such as inventory, product research, project planning, identifying priority issues and equipment budget forecast assistance.

  • Scheduling and utilization oversight of high-performing team of programmers and commissioning engineers.

  • Proven ability to organize and propose rigorous schedules in response to evolving internal and external project updates.

  • Develop and maintain Teams/Zoom and other web applications with video standard room configurations.

  • Maintain AV BPA equipment standards list and identify any emerging standard.

  • Adhere to and participate in the development of CDC standard programming code.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in an appropriate Technical discipline

  • Minimum of 4-7 years of experience supporting AV/VTC services

  • Experience and comfort with video teleconferencing, control, and audio-video distribution systems especially as it relates to Q-SYS and other hardware and software solutions

  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team
