Robert Half Accounts Payable Specialist in Atlanta, Georgia

Description We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. In this role, your primary function will be to manage and process customer credit applications, maintain customer records, and resolve customer inquiries. You will also oversee customer accounts and take necessary actions.

Responsibilities:

• Efficiently and accurately process customer credit applications

• Keep customer credit records up-to-date and accurate

• Handle and resolve customer inquiries effectively

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate actions

• Ensure accurate account coding and proper usage of accounting software systems

• Use tools like V-Lookups and Pivot Tables in Excel for data management

• Handle reconciliations and manage discrepancies

• Oversee the updating and reconciliation of the sub-ledger to the General Ledger

• Maintain capital lease and monthly payment schedules

• Assist in various accounting functions and auditing tasks as needed Requirements • Proficiency in Account Coding is necessary for this role.

• Familiarity with various Accounting Software Systems is required.

• Experience with ADP - Financial Services is deemed essential.

• The candidate should be proficient in using Concur.

• Knowledge of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is expected.

• The applicant must have a solid understanding of various Accounting Functions.

• Extensive experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) is a must.

• Proficiency in Accrual Accounting is required.

• Experience in Auditing is a key requirement for this role.

• The candidate should have a good understanding of the Automated Clearing House (ACH) system.
