Mako Medical Account Manager/Phlebotomy Supervisor (MAKO) in Atlanta, Georgia

Description

Responsibilities:

Account Management:

  • Serve as an additional point of contact for assigned clients, understanding their needs, and maintaining strong relationships.

  • Communicate regularly with clients to provide updates, address inquiries, and identify opportunities for service improvement.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met efficiently.

  • Help launch non-PSR accounts in partnership with the sales representative to ensure smooth launches and good workflow.

  • Work with the sales representative on any office workflow, or data integrity initiatives, to ensure smooth orders and clean claims in all offices.

  • Oversee CIR resolution, PPE resolution and AR follow up with all accounts listed in their territory.

  • Provide necessary CIR and PPE Resolution reporting to Director as requested and scheduled

  • Follow up with accounts, PSR’s and Sales Representative to clear CIR’s, PPE’s and AR

  • Help monitor account performance based upon PSAM’s view of the office in terms of staffing, order volume, clean claims and other factors.

Phlebotomy Department Leadership:

  • Supervise and lead the phlebotomy team, including training, scheduling, and performance management.

  • Implement quality control measures to ensure accurate specimen collection, handling, and processing.

  • Maintain compliance with regulatory standards, safety protocols, and best practices.

  • Oversee the maintenance and calibration of phlebotomy equipment and supplies.

Client Satisfaction and Compliance:

  • Ensure a positive patient experience during the phlebotomy process by addressing patient concerns and providing clear information.

  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals and administrative teams to ensure seamless patient care and specimen processing.

  • Maintain accurate records of specimen collection, patient data, and quality control measures to meet regulatory requirements.

Account Growth and Strategy:

  • Identify market trends, competitors, and opportunities to provide valuable insights and strategic advice to clients.

  • Negotiate contract terms, renewals, and pricing in collaboration with clients and internal stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) certification or equivalent.

  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.

  • Problem-solving skills to address challenges during the phlebotomy process.

  • Proficiency in using phlebotomy equipment and technology.

  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
