Summer Analyst Program Overview:

The Truist Securities Real Estate Investment Banking (REIB) Summer Analyst Program will run for approximately 10 weeks in the summer months. The Summer Analyst Program will consist of:

  • Activities: Networking, socials, case studies and presentations, team-building projects

  • Executive Speaker Series: CEO, Truist Securities Senior Leaders, among others

  • Community Service: Opportunities to participate in various volunteer initiatives are provided and involvement is strongly encouraged

  • The opportunity to interact with other groups and disciplines throughout the investment bank.

Competitive Summer Analysts will be eligible to receive an offer to return in full time positions as part of our Analyst program upon graduation.

Job Description :

The REIB Summer Analyst Program provides the opportunity to gain exposure to a number of disciplines within investment banking. Summer Analysts will sharpen financial analysis skills, develop an understanding of corporate markets and clients, and gain experience in corporate finance and with investment banking products through on-the-job training. Within each group, Summer Analysts play a meaningful role in supporting internal and external clients.

As an integral member of the team, Summer Analysts play a meaningful role in new business development, due diligence, and transaction execution. Analysts work with senior professionals to identify and evaluate opportunities and then meet with and present to prospective clients. Summer Analysts must demonstrate a mastery of financial and accounting concepts to facilitate the creation or review of in-depth financial models involved in transactions. Analysts are also charged with drafting internal and external documents and marketing materials utilized in transactions. Analysts often take a lead role in executing transactions and working with clients, attorneys, investors, interested parties and other senior professionals daily. As a result, strong organizational, communication and leadership skills are necessary to be effective in the position.

This Summer Analyst role is for the Real Estate Investment Banking (REIB) Group. This position will have ample opportunities for growth and exposure to a variety of transactions, including IPOs, follow-on offerings, public debt issuances and advisory assignments. REIB’s client base consists of public REITs, institutional real estate funds, and national real estate developers and operators.

Truist Securities is headquartered in Atlanta, GA, with offices throughout the U.S. in cities including Boston, Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Houston, Los Angeles, Miami, Nashville, Orlando, New York, San Francisco, and Washington D.C.

This opportunity will be specifically for the Real Estate Investment Banking group and based in Atlanta, GA.

Minimum Requirements :

  • Scheduled graduation of December 2025 or May/June 2026

  • Overall GPA of 3.0

  • Proven analytical ability and attention to detail

  • Solid leadership and interpersonal skills

  • Superior written and oral communication skills

  • Ability to work well in a fast-paced, team oriented environment

Preferred Requirements:

  • Business major

  • Prior completion of Accounting or Finance coursework

  • High degree of academic and extracurricular achievement

  • Willingness to commit substantial time and energy to the program.
