Graybar Sales Representative in Athens, Alabama

As a Sales Representative, you will serve as a key contact and liaison in coordination with the outside sales professionals for customers to ensure their total satisfaction. You will interact with customers on an ongoing basis, entering orders, handling requests, and providing support needed in a timely, courteous, and professional manner.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure we deliver a “Great Customer Experience” to every customer

  • Handle incoming and outgoing customer calls and written correspondence in a professional, timely manner, ensuring follow up on all customer issues

  • Take an active role in selling Cape Electric goods and services on inbound calls

  • Provide support on product selection and application

  • Coordinate customer service requests including order entry, pricing, expediting, billing, order maintenance, credit, and claims

Requirements:

  • Effective communication skills

  • A passion for customer service

  • Ability to handle a variety of customer situations with enthusiasm and tact

  • Exceptional time management skills preferred

  • Microsoft Office experience preferred

Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED

Work shift and hours:

  • Full-time, salaried, exempt.

  • Monday - Friday in office

  • 7:00am - 4:00pm

Compensation Details:

  • The expected rate of pay for this position is starting at $50,000 - $60,000 annually depending on experience.
