TRANSPORTATION SECURITY ADMINISTRATION Transportation Security Officer (Sign On Bonus) in Aspen, Colorado

POSITION: Transportation Security Officer.

DUTIES: Man various shifts to screen passengers prior to their entry into areas restricted to the normal public. Will be required to touch other people. Must be able to identify and verify names and documents and ensure that the passenger matches the documentation. Will also be required to screen luggage prior to allowing airline staff to load aircraft. Will perform spot checks of both aircraft and terminal employees and travelers.

REQUIREMENTS: Must be able to read and understand written English. Must be able to follow instructions precisely.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS: Conditions of Employment *Must be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National and at least 18 years of age *Pass a drug screening, medical evaluation, and background investigation *Subject to post-employment random drug and/or alcohol testing *Must be registered for Selective Service (males born after 12/31/59) *Must be available to work various shifts and overtime, as needed *Mandatory travel for training and occasional travel may be required

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS: Those with security experience.

WAGE: $26.83* per hour. Offering a sign-on bonus of $20,000 for this location, which includes $10,000 after onboarding and an additional $10,000 after one year of service (with service agreement). *Some conditions apply and may be subject to change.

SHIFT: 4 hour shifts and 8 hour shifts. Shifts will vary and will cover all times that traffic is leaving or arriving at the airport. If flights are delayed this may extend scheduled hours until flights arrive or leave the airport.

Job Site: Aspen, CO.
