Here, you can make an impact and make a difference. Come join us. Huntsman is seeking a Training Coordinator supporting the Advanced Materials Division located in Ashtabula, Ohio. This position will report to the Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager. Job Scope The Training Coordinator will assist in development and tracking of the training program at the Huntsman Ashtabula facility. As the Training Coordinator you will: Develop and maintain sitewide training matrix that encompasses all training requirements for all positions at the facility and ensure each department is fulfilling these requirements at the appropriate frequency utilizing input from department managers. Develop and maintain Workday training matrix. Develop new employee and annual refresher training presentations and modules. Coordinate with Area Managers in development of training materials and certifying / recertifying associates as needed. Coordinate training activities including job related training, functional training and other training as identified schedules for training sessions, including venues, arranging equipment, and ensuring availability of trainees with their supervisor/manager. Maintain training records and databases, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulations. Will coordinate training for Operations/Logistics, Maintenance, Engineering, EHS, Quality Actively support the facility in the Zero Harm journey. Required Qualifications: You must possess the below minimum qualifications to be initially considered for this position. Preferred qualifications are in addition to the minimum requirements and are considered a plus factor in identifying top candidates. The candidate must have an unrestricted right to work for Huntsman in the United States. High School Diploma/GED with +5 years or more experience working in a chemical plant or similar environment. Proficient in the use of Microsoft Suite. Effective written and verbal communications skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment are critical. Self-motivated & able to work independently. Highly organized. At least 18 years of age. Working conditions Working at a desk/computer (50%) Facilitating training in a conference room (30%) Facility walkthroughs/training in chemical plant (20%) Physical requirements Lifting up to 50 lbs., frequent standing, standing and twisting, walking, climbing stair and ladders, pushing/pulling, overhead and horizontal reaching, bending, squatting, kneeling, grasping, forceful gripping/pinching.
