CACI is currently looking for a motivated, career and customer-oriented Operations and Maintenance (O&M) Manager with Agile methodology experience to join our Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Land Border Integration (LBI) Integrated Traveler Initiative 2.1 (ITI2.1) team in Northern Virginia! Join this passionate team of industry-leading individuals supporting the best practices in Agile Software Development and hardware integration for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).

As a member of the ITI2.1 Team, you will support the men and women charged with safeguarding the American people and enhancing the Nation’s safety, security, and prosperity. CBP Officers and Border Patrol agents are on the front lines, every day, protecting our national security by combining customs, immigration, border security, and agricultural protection into one coordinated and supportive activity.

What you’ll get to do:

  • Service delivery operations, which include managing a team of O&M support professionals who monitor and report on system data and alerts and resolve system issues through remote access to the deployed systems.

  • Manage a diverse team of Field Technicians responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining solutions.

  • Leading service delivery innovation to service desk and service desk resolution.

  • Enterprise system management, performing monitoring and reporting.

  • Technical support for all production and non-production applications.

  • Service request management (service desk and service request resolution).

  • Serve as the key technical leader in support of the deployed systems across multiple areas of the enterprise (e.g., computer networks, hardware, software, including interconnection and interfaces).

  • Oversees large-scale multi-discipline team, including 24x7 operations support, monitoring, and service desk operations.

  • Your team will provide on-call support on a 24x7 basis in support of the contract by responding to trouble tickets and key issues related to the ongoing operations of the program.

  • Responsible for the tracking and resolving of all issues presented by the customer.

  • Work with the technical team to ensure necessary changes are made to the solutions that resolve problems and improve the operational functionality at the ports as well as improve overall performance.

  • Lead, motivate, develop, and mentor Field Technicians.

  • Facilitate and address safety, quality, workforce performance, employee feedback, and training.

  • Develop action plans to address service requests (tickets) and mitigate service issues.

  • Remove barriers and solve problems in performance of the ITI2.1 Contract.

  • Work directly with the ITI2.1 Contract Executive Program Manager (XPM) and Deputy Program Manager (DPM) to execute core programmatic and administrative tasks.

  • Support travel requests for contractor and subcontractor staff.

  • Work with Engineers to produce deliverables during the O&M phase of the System Engineering Lifecyle (SELC).

  • Facilitate rapid iteration of features and tracking of metrics.

  • Own services end-to-end, including comprehensive testing and production support.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

You have:

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass CBP background investigation, criteria includes, but not limited to:

  • 3-year check for felony convictions

  • 1-year check for illegal drug use

  • 1-year check for misconduct such as theft or fraud

  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree in a technical discipline and 15 years of Information Technology (IT) experience.

  • Experience with large scale, enterprise IT O&M, technologies, and programs

  • Knowledge in infrastructure, hardware sensing, networking, database, application and system security, system performance and web technologies

  • Knowledge in infrastructure and application management best practice, dashboard monitoring and data analytics, PKI concept, and reporting and visualization tools.

You are good at:

  • Experience in IoT fault detection and online machine condition monitoring Preferred.

  • Experience in IT Operations Automation preferred.

  • Location: Washington DC/Ashburn, VA metropolitan area/remote

  • Current CBP Entry on Duty (EOD) preferred.

Bonus would be having:

  • Supervisory experience in a field operations environment

  • Experience in administering processes and policies as they relate to: safety, attendance, performance work rules and code of conduct.

  • Strong organizational, time-priority management and results oriented leadership skills.

  • Knowledge of employment/labor laws.

  • Customer service experience.

  • Experience with outside plant construction, electronics, and placing/splicing copper/fiber.

  • Next-level analytical problem-solving talent

  • Experience in a fast-paced work environment

Since this position can be worked in more than one location, the range shown is the national average for the position.

The proposed salary range for this position is:

$78,100-$171,900
