Robert Half Human Resources Business Partner in Artesia, New Mexico

Description We are in search of a Human Resources Business Partner for our team located in Artesia, New Mexico. This role involves aligning business objectives with employees and management within our designated business units and requires a deep understanding of employment law. The HR Business Partner will work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention. * Position is onsite and travel between two locations in the Artesia / Hobbs area. * Robust benefits and opportunity to partner with senior leadership. Responsibilities:

• Build partnerships across the HR function to deliver value-added service to management and employees. • Conduct regular meetings with respective business units’ management and supervisory staff. • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues through conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations. • Provide day-to-day performance management guidance to line management, including coaching, counseling, career development, and disciplinary actions. • Interpret and guide HR policy implementation. • Participate in the evaluation and monitoring of training programs to ensure their success. • Play an active role in the recruitment and termination processes. • Perform employee background checks and verify information. • Communicate policies pertaining to Human Resources, compensation, and benefits to employees. • Conduct exit interviews and analyze employee data. • Organize and update employee files as necessary, and oversee employee orientation and training. • Undertake communications and interpersonal skills training. Requirements Ideal candidate will have: • Possess a minimum of 5 years of experience in a Human Resources role • Strong understanding and practical knowledge of Benefit Functions • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal • Familiarity with Compliance regulations and standards within the HR field • Experience in managing Employee Relations • Proficiency in Hiring Processes and best practices • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective Business Partnerships • Proven track record in Compensation & Benefits administration • Sound knowledge of Employment Law, particularly relating to employees • Experience in Employee performance management • Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and a detail oriented approach • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred • HR certification (e.g. PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) is a plus
