Guidehouse Strategy & Transformation Management Consultant in ARLINGTON, Virginia

What You Will Do :

Guidehouse is supporting the U.S. Department of Transportation to conduct an organizational assessment and implement organizational change associated with recently passed legislation.

  • Build and manage a project portfolio with revenue in alignment with account needs and expectations.

  • Develop operating concepts, operations models, and governance models.

  • Facilitate client meetings, interviews or work groups around key topics such as: strategy, organization structure, budget, people, process, infrastructure, and technology.

  • Work collaboratively in a team to develop solutions to solve organizational challenges and optimize the efficiency and effectiveness of operations.

  • Work with diverse stakeholder to drive towards consensus.

  • Lead the development of work products that clearly synthesize information into recommendations for client implementation.

  • Develop business process improvements to existing programs.

  • Provide change management recommendations to clients.

  • Develop communications and executive presentations for agency leadership.

  • Assume responsibility for managing client relations including Senior Executive Service and political appointees.

  • Provide guidance, coaching, and quality assurance to junior staff.

What You Will Need :

  • A bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.

  • Minimum 6 (six) years of experience with business process analysis and improvement, transformation and strategy, facilitation, workshops, and presentations.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with products such as communications and executive presentations.

  • Candidates should reside within a reasonable number of miles to a Washington, D.C., MD or Northern VA Guidehouse Office.

  • U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust clearance.

What Would Be Nice To Have :

  • Experience in Federal consulting or working with Federal agencies.

  • Experience with transformational programs.
