PV Ads CX team's mission is to reach annualized long-term Ads net revenue goal while improving customer experience by providing the best guardrail and relevancy.

Successful candidates have a solid background in distributed system design, and service-oriented architecture. They have experience owning and maintaining highly-available, mission-critical systems. Experience in Advertising domain is a plus. You will need to have strong problem-solving and technical abilities, great communication skills, a motivation to learn, and achieve results in a fast-paced environment with excellent analytical reasoning skills.

Key job responsibilities

As a SDE-III on the team, you will be responsible for:

  • Influencing and proposing ideas for the future of the space to product management, and get them into the roadmap.

  • Driving cross-team initiatives and leading a team of developers on key initiatives.

  • Collaborate with Senior and Principal Engineers, Product leaders, scientist and economists on building long term solutions.

  • Mentoring engineers on the team.

Basic Qualifications

  • 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience

  • 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience

  • 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience

  • Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
